One-size-fits-all doesn’t look good on anybody. That said, I also hate shopping for things that don’t have a price-tag when I pick them up in a store or go to their website.

I’ve come to my pricing based on a few years of truly thinking about fully servicing my clients. Travel within two hours of NYC is included in my wedding package and I’m not gonna wrestle you for you about copyright, all pricing below includes full reprint rights.

Are there certain products and/or services that you are interested in combining? Wondering if we’ll shoot something not listed below? I recommend reaching out to set up a time to get to know each other better. (We're usually game!)

Can’t wait to hear from you!

1 // How do we book you?

Great question! A $600 non-refundable deposit, along with your signed contract, is required to book and secure your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your wedding. Please note that dates are limited and booked upon the receipt of the signed agreement and retainer.

2 // Can you hold our wedding date?

Unfortunately, I’m unable to hold your wedding date without a signed agreement and retainer. Weddings are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis.

3 // Where do you shoot weddings?

NYC and New England are Hart & Sol’s home base (travel with-in 2 hrs of NYC included), but please don’t hesitate to contact me if you are planning a wedding outside of the area! I love to travel and don’t think you should be charged more than the basics (i.e. flight and accommodations) for me to do so.

4 // What is your shooting style?

You know, this is the hardest question to answer. Simply put, I am deeply invested in your wedding and that manifests itself in different ways. My goal is to get to know you a little before taking your picture and then challenging myself to then tell your story through photographs. Am I the most technical, best photographer out there? I’ll never make that claim, but I truly believe that you, your memories, and family/friends are beautiful and I will shoot it as such.

5 // What kind of equipment do you use?

I like to think that the photographer makes the gear and not the other way around, but I primarily shoot Nikon. DIY lenses and other equipment, 35mm film cameras, toy cameras, Fuji Instax, compliment my high-quality Nikon digital equipment to offer a creative and timeless snapshot. (Lou also makes killer tintypes, so make sure to tell us if you specifically dig film!)

6 // How and when do you deliver photos to clients? Do I have to comb through every photo you take?

My delivery policy is 8–10 weeks from the event date. In addition to receiving the photos on a password-protected online gallery which you can share with family and friends, you will receive high-resolution JPEG digital negatives on a USB drive. I don’t limit the number of photos I take during our time together, but it usually comes down to a photo per minute. On top of that, I go through all of those photos (so you don’t have to) and comb out the blurry ones and process every photo that is delivered back to you through Adobe Lightroom.

7 // How do we order albums and prints?

Albums, prints, and other products are offered à la carte to ensure my services are tailored to your specific needs. Standard prints can be ordered directly through the online gallery your final images are delivered through. Specialty print products, such as albums, aluminum prints, standouts and canvas gallery wraps, can be arranged upon request.

8 // When we receive our final photographs, how can we use them?

With your signed agreement, you will have the rights to print and share your wedding photographs online for personal use only. You are not permitted to alter, edit or sell the images. A proper photo credit (photo by Hart & Sol Photo) is also required.

9 // How long do you archive our images?

I archive your final images for up to a year from your completion date. I strongly recommend backing up your images to a backup drive, thumb drive or somewhere in the Cloud.

10// Do I need engagement photos? I am on the fence about them and I see its included in your packages?

Listen, you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do, and I’m all about that on all fronts. That said, there is no discount if you decide to opt-out. Engagement photos are a good way to meetup for 1–2 hours, one day before your wedding. Its also less of me paparazzing a date and more of a way to have nice pictures of yourselves hanging out in normal clothes. (P.S. I include them in my packages because I want to meet you, too!)

11 // We’d like to change outfits during our engagement session, is that possible?

Yes, of course! I usually recommend a single change of clothes for your engagement session.

12 // What type of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, check, and credit cards (through PayPal).

13// Do you have event insurance?

Yes! details available upon request.

14 // What if we have to reschedule or cancel our session with you?

Cancellations less than 48 hours in advance of shoot date will incur a 25% rescheduling fee and must be rescheduled within 90 days of the original date. All monies collected are non-refundable.
