1 // Where do you shoot weddings?
NYC and New England are still East’s home base. but please don't hesitate to contact me if you are planning a wedding outside of the area! We love to travel and don't think you should be charged more than the basics (i.e. flight and accommodations) for us to do so.
2 // What is your shooting style?
You know, this is the hardest question to answer. Simply put, we are deeply invested in your wedding and that manifests itself in different ways. We pride ourselves on a delicate cocktail of “fly on the wall” (taking everything in and seamlessly capturing the details of your wedding) and "Malcom in the Middle”
Bottom line: We want you to feel like were old friends.
Aesthetically our shooting style is this: you, your wedding, and guests are beautiful and we will shoot it as such.
3 // What kind of equipment do you use?
35mm film cameras, toy cameras, Polaroid, and high quality Nikon digital equipment.
HOWEVER… we like to think that the photographer makes the gear and not the other way around.
4// Now that you and maddie are no longer shooting weddings together, who is your second shooter?
My primary second shooter is Louis Riso, an amazing art student working towards his BFA in photography. He is interested in combining 19th century and digital photographic processes, loves the smell of film, and used to don a mean mohawk.
